'Dunguair Castle' Near Kinvara, Galway' Superb Painting by Daniel Van der Putten. This is a beautiful Painting near one of Ireland's most famous Castles. Dunguaire Castle is a 16th-century tower house on the shore of Galway Bay in County Galway, Ireland.The name derives from the Dun of King Guaire, the legendary king of Connacht. December 2010 the heavy Snow made for a winter wonderland in the walks around the Castle. This is a really beautiful Painting by Van Der Putten who is Dutch born but resides and paints in the UK.
